Most people think their problem is that they do not have the answers.
It is not. Their problem is the questions they are asking.
Here is something I have watched play out for years, in my own life and in the lives of the people I work with. Two people can face exactly the same setback. Same lost job, same failed relationship, same stalled bank account. One of them comes out of it stronger. The other stays stuck for years. And the single biggest difference between them, more often than not, is the quality of the questions they ask themselves when things go wrong.
Your brain is not a passive observer. It is a search engine. And whatever you type into it, it will go and find. Ask it a bad question, and it will hand you a bad answer, every single time.

When something stressful happens, most people react automatically. They do not choose their response. It just fires. And usually it fires in the form of a statement or a question that quietly drains them.
You have heard these before, because you have probably said them yourself:
"Why does this always happen to me?"
"Why can I never catch a break?"
"What is wrong with me?"
"Why am I so unlucky?"
On the surface they look harmless. They feel like a normal reaction to a hard moment. But look closer at what they actually do. Every one of them assumes the worst is already true and simply asks your mind to explain why. They put you straight into a victim position, where you are helpless and nothing is in your control.
And because your mind will always try to answer whatever you ask it, these questions send it hunting for evidence that you really are stuck, unlucky, and broken. It finds that evidence. It always does. Then it hands it back to you as proof.
This is not a character flaw. In an earlier lesson we looked at how a thought creates an emotion, which creates a sensation in the body, which drives your behaviour, which shapes the reality you experience. Disempowering questions live right at the top of that chain, at the thought level. So when you ask a draining question, you are not just having a bad moment. You are setting off a downward spiral. Low-frequency thought, contracted emotion, heavy body, defeated behaviour. Your inner chi tightens and closes. And the reality you manifest reflects it.
Here is the part that surprises people. Your brain is not sabotaging you on purpose when it generates these questions. It is doing exactly what it evolved to do.
Buried near the base of your brain is something called the Reticular Activating System, or RAS. Think of it as a filter. Every second, you are surrounded by far more information than you could ever process, so the RAS decides what gets through to your conscious attention and what gets ignored. And it takes its instructions from what you focus on. The questions you ask are some of the strongest instructions it receives.
Ask "why am I not good enough?" and the RAS treats that as a command. It sets your filter to notice every shortcoming, every past failure, every moment someone doubted you. It is not being cruel. It is being obedient. You gave it a search term and it delivered the results.
Which means the fix is not to try harder to feel positive. The fix is to change the search term.

Think back to a time when you were stuck on something for days. Then one person asked you a single question, and suddenly the whole thing loosened. "Have you tried looking at it this way?" Or, "what if the opposite were also true?" Nothing about the situation changed. Only the question did. And that was enough to let the answer through.
That is the power of an empowering question. A good question does not always hand you the answer. What it does is remove a limitation so the answer can finally reach you. In Inner Feng Shui terms, empowering questions create energetic openings. They open small doorways in your internal energy system where clarity, intuition, and solutions can start to flow in.
The shift is smaller than you would think. You do not need to become a different person. You just need to swap one question for a better one. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Instead of "why is this so hard?", ask "what is one small thing I can do today to make this one per cent easier?"
Instead of "why do people treat me this way?", ask "what boundary can I set that might get them to treat me the way I want?"
Instead of "I do not know how to do this", ask "what is the fastest way I can learn the skills I need to get this done?"
Instead of "this is just who I am", ask "is who I am still serving me today, and if not, what is one small step I can take to start changing?"
Read those two columns again and notice what happens in your body. The draining versions make your chest tighten. The empowering versions make something open. That is not your imagination. That is your chi responding to the instruction you just gave it. Possibility creates hope, hope expands your inner chi, and expanded chi raises your frequency, which is exactly the state from which the law of attraction actually works. Not as magic, but as a natural downstream effect of your internal state.

Reading about this is one thing. Feeling it is another. So let me walk you through the practice I teach for this, step by step. It takes about five minutes and you only need a pen and a piece of paper.
It could be your career, your finances, a relationship, or your health. Bring to mind the thought that actually shows up for you there. Something like "I do not know when I will ever get that promotion." Or "my bank account never seems to move." Or "why does my partner never understand where I am coming from?" Or "this knee problem is never going to go away." Write down whatever the real one is for you. Do not clean it up. Write it as it sounds in your head.
Look at what you wrote, and then ask yourself: "what is one empowering question I could ask that would open a new possibility here?" Then write that new question underneath.
For the examples above, it might become "what can I do this week that proves to my boss I am ready for that promotion?" Or "what other ways could I explore to increase my income?" Or "how could I communicate so that my partner actually understands me?" Or "what remedies for my knee have I genuinely not tried yet?"
As you sit with the new question, take one slow, deep breath. Then notice what has changed inside you. Is there a little more space in your chest? Do you feel slightly less tense, slightly more in control? Maybe even a small flicker of hope? That feeling is the whole point. That is your energy moving from contracted to open.
From today, start catching the questions and statements that fire automatically. When you notice a draining one, do not fight it or scold yourself for having it. Just gently replace it with a better question. That is the entire practice. Catch, replace, breathe.

Learning to ask better questions is one of the fastest ways to change your inner state. But your inner state is only one half of the picture.

Inside Chi Manifestation, the questions you ask yourself are one piece of a much larger system. On their own, they can lift your energy in a moment. Held together with everything else, they become part of a way of living.
Here is why that matters. Your physical environment carries its own energetic charge. When your space is arranged to support the flow of luck and opportunity, it quietly creates the conditions for good things to come toward you. But if your inner state is contracted, if your self-talk is heavy and your default questions are draining, those opportunities arrive and slip straight past you, unnoticed or quietly sabotaged. You can set your environment up perfectly and still miss what it sends you, simply because you were not in a state to receive it.
That is the whole idea behind the Inner and Outer Feng Shui System. It combines over 5,000 years of ancient Chinese energetic wisdom with modern, science-backed psychology, developed by a second-generation Feng Shui master from Singapore and a certified psychotherapist and counsellor. Most programmes work on one side. This one works on both. Because one without the other only gets you halfway.

You are going to face a difficult moment at some point this week. That is not pessimism, it is just life. And when it comes, your mind will offer you a question automatically. It might be "why does this always happen to me?"
That is your moment. Instead of answering it, replace it. Ask something that opens a door instead of closing one. "What can I learn here? What strengths do I already have? What is the opportunity in this?"
You will feel the difference immediately, right there in your chest. And over time, as this becomes a habit, you will notice something bigger. The quality of your questions slowly becomes the quality of your life. As Tony Robbins puts it, that link is not a coincidence. It is the mechanism.
So pay attention to what you are asking. It matters more than you think.
See you in the next one.
